HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 465, Ordinance Number 71-2-438465 ORDINANCE NO. 71-2-438 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF URBAN RENEWAL AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN PROPERTY IN THE GILSON, ROCK AND TULLY ADDITION FOR THE NET SUM OF $667.95, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED AND ALL NECESSARY CLOSING DOCUMENTS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of the Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, in the amount of $667.95 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in certain property be accepted, said property being described as follows: Being Lot No. 17 in Block No. 9, of Gilson, Rock and Tully Addition to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, as shown by plat recorded in Plat Book "A", page 25 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. Being the same property conveyed to the City of Paducah by Clora May Free, a widow, by deed dated February 23rd, 1971, and recorded in Deed Book _ page in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. SECTION 2. Upon payment of the sum of $667.95 to the City Treasurer by the aforesaid Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey all the right, title and interest of the City of Paducah in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and to execute any closing papers as may be necessary and approved by the Corporation Counsel, and said deed shall contain no warranty as to title, and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
