ORDINANCE NO. 71-2-433
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A GRANT AWARD FROM
THE KENTUCKY CRIME COMMISSION FOR A POLICE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM,
AND DESIGNATING THE PROJECT DIRECTOR AND FISCAL OFFICER FOR SUCH
PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION I. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to
accept a $26,752.00 grant award from the Kentucky Crime Commission
to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for a police communications system,
which grant has been numbered 70-A-0159 and covers the grant period
from January 15, 1971 to January 14, 1972. The Chief of the Paducah
Police Department is hereby designated Project Director for said
grant, and the City Treasurer is hereby designated Fiscal Officer
for said grant.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
