HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 413, Ordinance Number 70-12-420413 ORDINANCE NO. 70-12-420 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID -OF KENNETH .LYNN D/B/A JEEP LYNN GARAGE, FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) USED 25 -TON WRECKER FOR USE IN THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Kenneth Lynn d/b/a Jeep Lynn Garage, in the amount of $10,900.00 for the sale to the City of one (1) used 25 -ton wrecker for use in the Public Works Department of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, .said bid being dated December 2, 1970, and in all respects complying with the specifications as set out in the resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on November 24, 1970, authorizing bids. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Kenneth Lynn for the purchase of the property set out in Section 1 above, and according to the said resolution and bid. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
