HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 4, Ordinance Number 70-1-2794 / y ORDINANCE NO. 70-1-279 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ADDRESSOGRAPH MULTIGRAPH CORPORATION FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) ADDRESSING MACHINE FOR USE BY THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Addressograph Multigraph Corporation in the sum of $7,658.65, less trade-in of the 1965 model Addressograph equipment, serial No. 540839 and Serial No. 540840 in the amount of $200.00, for a net price of $7,458.65, for the sale to the City of one (1) new Model 4000 Addressograph, having the specifications as set out in the bid for said equipment submitted by Addressograph Multigraph Corporation on December 12, 1969, which complies with the resolution authorizing the request for such bids passed by the Board of Commissioners on December 9, 1969. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said Addressograph Model 4000 with all optional equipment as requested in the said resolution and as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at Least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in whivh it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
