ORDINANCE NO. 70-11-412
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR THE SALE
TO THE CITY OF TWO (2) TRUCKS WITHOUT BODIES FOR USE IN THE REFUSE
DIVISION OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO MAKE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan
Rhodes, Inc. for the sale to the City of two (2) 1971 LN 800 trucks,
without bodies, for use in the Refuse Division of the City of Paducah,
said bid being in the net amount of $13,700.00 without trade-in, and
said bid having the specifications as set out in the resolution dated
October 20, 1970 adopted by the Board of Commissioners authorizing bids
and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. dated October 26, 1970.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc. for the purchase of the
property set out in Section 1 above according to said resolution and
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and,if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
