ORDINANCE NO. 70-11-404
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20-56 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, PERTAINING TO A PENALTY FOR LATE PAYMENT OF
MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 20-56 "Same - Penalty for Late Payment"
of the Code of Ordinances City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and '
reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter
read as follows:
"Section 20-56. Same - Penalty for late payment.
I£ the license fee or tax required by this Article is not paid
before the applicable date, as set forth in Section 20-55, there shall
be added thereto a penalty of $5.00 for passenger vehicles and trucks
and $2.50 for motorcycles."
SECTION 2. This ordinance amends Section 3(f) of an ordinance
originally adopted on December 30, 1937, and last amended by Section 1
of Ordinance No. 69-11-261 on November 11, 1969.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
