ORDINANCE NO. 70-10-395
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF RUDD CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT
CO. INC. FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE PICK UP SWEEPER FOR USE IN THE
STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Rudd Construc-
tion Equipment Co. Inc. for the sale to the City of one (1) Wayne Model
1-984 Street Sweeper for use in the Street Department, said bid being in

the amount of $13,927.00 and having the specifications as set out in the
resolution adopted September 8, 1970 authorizing bids and as set out
in the bid of Redd Construction Equipment Co. Inc. dated September 24, 1970.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Rudd Construction Equipment Co. Inc. for the
purchase of the property set out in Section 1 above and according to said
resolution and said bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
