HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 349, Ordinance Number 70-10-394ZI ORDINANCE NO. 70-10-394 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PARKER DODGE FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) 1971 ONE-HALF TON PICKUP TRUCK TO BE USED AS A PATROL AND PADDY WAGON FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Parker Dodge for the sale to the City of one (1) 1971 pickup one-half ton truck to be used as a patrol and paddy wagon for the Police Department, said bid being in the gross amount of $3,782.70, less an allowance of $1,187.70 for trade-in of a 1968 Chevrolet panel truck, making a net total of $2,595.00. Said bid having the specifications as set out in a resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on September 8, 1970 authorizing bids, and as contained in the bid of Parker Dodge dated September 23, 1970, said bid being for Model D100-128. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Parker Dodge for the purchase of the property set out in Section 1 above, and according to the resolution and said bid. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
