BURNETT TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN THE TRACT OF LAND AT 1220 STARIE AVENUE FOR THE SUM OF $150.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO"EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of Johnny V. Burnett in the amount of $150.00 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in certain property on Starke Avenue, be accepted, said property being described as follows: Lot 151 in Subsection No. 1 Utterback Addition, fronting 30.7 feet on the south side of Starke Avenue, and as shown on page 79 of Block Map Book No. 7 in the office of the City Engineer. Being the same land (Mrs. Pearl Maroney and Barbara Lee Price) conveyed to the City of Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy, City Treasurer, by deed dated October 7, 1970, and of record in Deed Book 522, page 623 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. SECTION 2. Upon payment of the sum of $150.00 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Johnny V. Burnett all right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to.title, and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey, and shall be subject to 1970 city taxes which are to be paid by said purchaser. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
