ORDINANCE NO. 70-10-385
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BELMONT EQUIPMENT CO. INC. FOR
THE SALE TO THE CITY OF SIX (6) THREE WHEEL REFUSE VEHICLES FOR USE IN
THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Belmont
Equipment Company, Inc. in the amount of $16,242.00 for sale to the City
of six (6) three -wheel refuse vehicles for use in the Refuse Division
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, said bid having the specifications
as set out in the resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on
September 8, 1970, authorizing said bids and as contained in the bid of
Belmont Equipment Company, Inc. dated September 18, 1970.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Belmont Equipment Co. Inc. for the purchase
of the property as set out in Section 1 above according to said
resolution and said bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be
in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
