ORDINANCE NO. 70-10-384
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING A PORTION OF SECTION 25-1 (a) "NUMBER,
RANK AND SALARIES OF MEMBERS OF DEPARTMENT", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That so much of Section 25-1 (a) "Number, rank and
salaries of members of department" of the Code of Ordinances City of
Paducah, Kentucky, as read:
Captain 9 $630.00
Sergeants 11 580.00
Policemen 39 490.00
be amended and reordained so that said Section 25-1 (a) shall hereafter
read as follows:
"Sec. 25-1. Number, rank and salaries of members of Department
(a) The number and rank of members of the police department
of the City of Paducah and their monthly salaries, provided said salaries
are not changed by any annual apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted,
shall be as follows:
Position Number of Positions Base Monthly Salary
Chief of Police 1 $843.33
First assistant chief of police 1 740.00
Second assistant chief of police 1 685 00
Chief of detectives 1 685.00
Captain 7 630.00
Sergeants 15 580.00
Policemen 37 490.00"
SECTION 2. This ordinance amends an ordinance adopted August 5,
1952, and last amended June 23, 1970.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and retroactive to August 25, 1970.
