FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ITS REQUIREMENT OF NEW AUTOMOBILE AND TRUCK TIRES FOR THE PERIOD OF TIME FROM SEPTEMBER 1, 1970 TO AUGUST 31, 1971, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Bowling General Tire, Inc., said bid having the specifications as set out in the Resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on August 18, 1970, authorizing bids and as contained in the bid of Bowling General Tire, Inc., dated August 27, 1970, in words and figures as follows: New General truck tires, March 16, 1970, net state prices less 10, 10 and 10 net. All new General tubes, March 16, 1970, net state prices less 10% net. New General passenger, March 16, 1970 net state prices less 10 and 10 net. All prices subject to 5% sales tax. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Bowling General Tire, Inc. for the purchase of the tires as set out in Section 1 above and according to said resolution and said bid. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter. /i Mayor Introduced by the Board of Commissioners September 8, 1970 Passed by the Board of Commissioners September 18, 1970 Recorded by Sarah Thurman, City Clerk, September 18, 1970.
