HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 298, Ordinance Number 70-9-372298/ ORDINANCE NO. 70-9-372 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY EAST OF BRADLEY STREET BETWEEN 27TH AND 30TH STREETS, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE - 1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on September 2, 1970, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY EAST OF BRADLEY STREET BETWEEN 27TH AND 30TH STREETS", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from M-3 Heavy Industrial Zone to R-3 Two -Family Residential Zone: Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of 27th Street with the center line of Bradley Street; thence in an easterly direction along and with the center line of 27th Street a distance of 60 feet, more or less, to the inter- section of the center line of 27th Street with the west line of the Chicago, St. Louis & N. O. Railroad right-of-way; thence in a southerly direction along and with the westerly line of said railroad right-of-way a distance of 1098 feet, more or less, to the point of intersection of said right-of-way with the center line of 30th Street; thence in a westerly direction along and with the center line of 30th Street a distance of 480 feet, more of less, to the point of intersection of the center line of 30th Street with the center line of Bradley Street; thence in a northerly direction along and with the center line of Bradley Street a distance of 1144 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. 299 SECTION 5.
