ORDINANCE NO. 70-9-371
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING A PORTION OF SECTION 10-52 "PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT - GENERALLY" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
yBE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That so much of Section 10-52 "Public Works Department
Generally (a)" as reads:
"Director of Public Works $720.00
Auto Repairman 2.98
Mechanic Helper 2.78"
be, and the same hereby are, amended and reordained so that they shall
hereafter read:
Director of Public Works $770.00
Auto Repairmen (6 positions) 2,95
Mechanic Helper (3 positions) 2,78,
SECTION 2. That Section 10-52(a) of said Code of Ordinances
be further amended and reordained by adding:
Vehicle Body Repairman 2,98
SECTION 3. That Section 10-52 be further amended and reordained
by adding:
(n) Vehicle Body Repairman_ The vehicle body repairman shall be
paid at the rate of $2.98 per hour for the first six months of employment,
and at the expiration of six months the rate of pay shall be increased to
$3.03 per hour, such increase to be made upon recommendation of the City
Manager.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force from and after
and retroactive to July 1, 1970.
