HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 282, Ordinance Number 70-8-370282 /J ORDINANCE NO. 70-8-370 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 29-45 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That "Section 29-45 Fees" be amended and reordained so that said Section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows: "Sec. 29-45. Fees. The fee to be paid by the city to attorneys employed under this article shall be as follows: (1) Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per case involving one parcel of real estate, or more than one parcel having the same source of title to the owner or owners of the property involved. The total fee to be paid shall be One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) in the event collection is made prior to entry of judgment. (2) An additional fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) for the first additional parcel having a different source of title, and an additional fee of thirty dollars ($30.00) for each additional parcel thereafter having still a different source of title. Such fees shall be paid after the case has been completely closed either by the distribution and payment of the taxes or proceeds of the sale or by the delivering of a deed to the City when real estate is purchased by it." SECTION 2. This ordinance amends Section 2 of an ordinance enacted January 31, 1961, and last amended November 13, 1962. SECTION 3.
