HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 222, Ordinance Number 70-7-356222 // ORDINANCE NO. 70-7-356 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15-4 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IO;NTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 15-4 of the Code of Ordinances City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows: "Sec. 15-4 Accumulation of rubbish or excessive growth of grass or weeds - Declared unlawful. It shall be unlawful for the owner, occupant, or person having control or management of any land within the City of Paducah, Kentucky, to permit a public nuisance, health hazard or source of filth to develop thereon through the accumulation of rubbish or the excessive growth thereon of grass or weeds. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not less than $10.00 nor more than $300.00 for each offense, and each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder. SECTION 2. Section 1 hereof amends Section 1 of an ordinance declaring it to be unlawful for an owner, occupant or person having control or management of any land within the City of Paducah to permit a public nuisance, health hazard or source of filth to develop thereon through the accumulation of rubbish or the excessive growth thereon of other grass, weeds or/growth, which ordinance was adopted June 11, 1968. SECTION 3.
