ORDINANCE NO. 70-6-352
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BELMONT EQUIPMENT CO., INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO (2) THREE -WHEEL REFUSE VEHICLES FOR USE
IN THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Belmont
Equipment Co., Inc. in the amount of $4,650.00 for the sale to the City
of two (2) three -wheel refuse vehicles for use in the Refuse Department
of the City, said bid having the specifications as set out in the
resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on May 28, 1970
authorizing bids and as contained in the bid of Belmont Equipment Co.,
Inc. dated June 5, 1970, said bid being for two (2) #40570 Cushman Refuse
Vehicles.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Belmont Equipment Co., Inc. for the purchase
of the property set out in Section 1 above and according to said
resolution and said bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the,completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be
in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
