HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 176, Ordinance Number 70-5-331176/ f ORDINANCE NO. 70-5-331 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET- CADILLAC FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW 1970 STATION WAGON FOR USE IN THE INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac for the net delivery price of $2,731.62 for the sale to the City of One (1) new 1970 Chevrolet Brookwood Station Wagon Model 15436 for use by the Inspection Department, said bid having the specifications as set out in a resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on May 5, 1970 authorizing bids and as contained in the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac dated May 8, 1970. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac for the purchase of the property as set out in Section 1 above according to the resolution and said bid. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
