ORDINANCE NO. 70-5-330
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR THE
SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE CURRENT MODEL FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE TRUCK FOR USE
BY THE FLOODWALL DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, IENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan
Rhodes, Inc. in the amount of $2,955.00 for sale to the City one
current model four-wheel drive truck to be used by the Floodwall
Department of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, said bid having the
specifications as set out in the resolution adopted by the Board of
Commissioners on April 14, 1970 authorizing said bids, and as contained
in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. dated April 27, 1970, said purchase
to be of one (1) 1970 Ford Bronco complete with front mount winch.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc. for the
purchase of the property as set out in Section 1 above according to
said resolution and said bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
