HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 164, Ordinance Number 70-5-326164 ORDINANCE NO. 70-5-326 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WEST KENTUCKY EQUIPMENT COMPANY FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE COMBINATION BACKHOE AND ENDLOADER FOR USE IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of West Kentucky Equipment Company in the amount of $8,669.78 for sale to the City of one (1) combination backhoe and endloader for use by the Street Department, said bid having the specifications as set out in the resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on April 21, 1970 authorizing bids and as contained in the bid of West Kentucky Equipment Company dated May 8, 1970, said bid being for a Case Model D580 Diesel, Construction King Loader and Backhoe. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with West Kentucky Equipment Company for the purchase of the property as set out in Section 1 above according to said resolution and said bid. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
