V% ORDINANCE NO. 72-12-733 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MOTOROLA FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF FOURTEEN PORTABLE COMMUNICATION UNITS AND ONE MULTI -UNIT BATTERY CHARGER FOR USE IN THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Motorola in the amount of $7,300.00 for.sale to the City of fourteen portable communication units and one multi -unit battery charger for use in the Paducah Police Department, according to the terms and conditions of the resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on October 17, 1972 authorizing bids for such equipment, and according to the provisions of the bid of Motorola dated November 6, 1972. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract for the purchase of the equipment set out in Section 1 above. SECTION 3.
