A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO
THE COMPREHENSIVE ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND
BLUE CROSS HOSPITAL PLAN, INC. AND KENTUCKY PHYSICIANS MUTUAL, INC.
WHEREAS the original comprehensive enrollment agreement between
the City of Paducah and Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Group Nos. 8078-0
thru 8078-9 originally excluded from benefits the non-member hospital
benefits afforded to participants under the policy, and
WHEREAS Blue Cross and Blue Shield propose to amend the
original comprehensive enrollment agreement to specify certain non-member
hospital benefits,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to execute an amendment to the comprehensive enrollment
agreement between the City of Paducah, Kentucky and Blue Cross Hospital
Plan, Inc. and Kentucky Physicians Mutual, Inc. to provide for non-
member hospital benefits for city employees participating in the
comprehensive enrollment agreement.
SECTION 2. An executed copy of the said amendment shall be filed
with the said comprehensive enrollment agreement.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
