ORDINANCE NO. 72-12-728
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-49. CITY MANAGER -GENERALLY,
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 2-49 City Manager - Generally, of the
Code of Ordinances City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained
so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read
as follows:
"Sec. 2-49. City manager - Generally.
The city manager shall receive a salary for his services at
the rate of $23,000.00 per year. Such salary shall be paid at the
times other city salaries are paid, and shall be exclusive of the
compensation paid to him as a member of the electric plant board
of the city. In the event the individual holding the position of
city manager is a licensed and practicing attorney in the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, he shall bear the title of Associate Counsel and may
assist the Corporation Counsel in any legal matters involving the
City of Paducah."
SECTION 2. Section 1 amends Section 1 of Ordinance No. 72-4-633
which was adopted April 11, 1972.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after December 11, 1972.
