It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to make a connection to any sanitary sewer constructed in the above described territory without having paid the proper fee as set out herein and without first having obtained the proper permit as set out herein, and any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE AMOUNT TO BE CHARGED FOR CONNECTING TO CITY SANITARY SEWERS CONSTRUCTED ON MINNICH AVENUE FROM FRIEDMAN LANE TO A POINT APPROXIMATELY 400 FEET WEST OF LILLIAN AVENUE (37TH STREET), \ ' PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CONNECTION PERMITS, PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT OF THE CONNECTION CHARGES, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS HEREOF WHEREAS, construction has been completed for sanitary sewers on Minnich Avenue from Friedman Lane to a point approximately 400 feet west of Lillian Avenue (37th Street), and it is desired to establish the amount to be charged for connection to the sanitary sewers in said area, and WHEREAS, the City Engineer did, by letter dated November 20, 1972, advise the Board of Commissioners as to the amount to be properly charged for said connections in said area and territory based upon construction cost and number of present and future connections anticipated for said territory. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. There is hereby established the charge of $600.00 for each connection to city sanitary sewers constructed on Minnich Avenue from Friedman Lane to a point approximately 400 feet west of Lillian Avenue (37th Street). SECTION 2. No connection to said sanitary sewer system shall be made by any property owner or other person, firm or corporation except under permit for such connection issued according to the provisions of the Code of Ordinances City of Paducah, Kentucky. SECTION 3. The fees for sewer connection permits shall be paid at the office of the City Treasurer, and the City Treasurer shall advise 7%V the Building Inspector and Director of the Street Department of all permits issued. SECTION 4. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to make a connection to any sanitary sewer constructed in the above described territory without having paid the proper fee as set out herein and without first having obtained the proper permit as set out herein, and any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions 1222 of this ordinance shall be subject to the fines and penalties as set out for such offenses in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah. SECTION 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 6.
