YANCY, 1717 NORTH 10TH STREET, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN LOT 8, BLOCK 9, O'BRYAN ADDITION ON CENTER STREET, FOR THE SUM OF $245.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of Steve M. Yancy in the amount of $245.00 to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land in said City be accepted, said land being described as follows: Lot 8, Block 9, O'Bryan Addition fronting 40 feet on the south side of Center Street and being 80 feet west of Mississippi (23rd) Street. Being the same land (Herbert ward, Dorothy Ward and Albert L. Berger property) conveyed to the City of Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy, City Treasurer, by deed dated April 4, 1972, and of record in Deed Book 539, page 151 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. SECTION 2. Upon payment of the sum of $245.00 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Steve M. Yancy all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
