ORDINANCE NO. 72-11-719
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION
RESPECTING THE AMENDMENT OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF SECTION 53, SECTION 54,
AND SECTION 55 OF THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1971, AND AMENDING SAID
SECTIONS", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON NOVEMBER
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 5 of an ordinance bearing the title
quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on
November 14, 1972, be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained
so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 5. That Sub -section 55.07 of Section 55 of the Paducah
Zoning Ordinance -1971, be, and the same is hereby, amended and reordained
so that that portion of said section as amended and reordained shall
hereafter read as follows:
55.07 - Set -Back Requirements for all Business Zones Abutting or Adjacent
to Residential Zones.
(a) Where a Business Zone fronts an R-1 or R-2 Residential Zone,
the Planning Commission shall require the following set -backs:
Minimum Front Yard - 25 feet
Screening requirements shall be the same as Section 40.17'"
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
