AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
THE PADUCAH WATER WORKS FOR EXTENSION OF A WATER LINE TO THE PADUCAH
LANDFILL SITE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and she is hereby, authorized and
directed to execute an agreement with the Paducah Water Works for
extension of a six inch water line from Cairo Road along LeGeay Lane
to the landfill site and for the installation of a fire hydrant and
necessary wyes for providing water and sanitary services at the site,
said agreement to be for the City of Paducah to 1 -?ay the material
costs in the approximate amount of $4,500.00 and for the Paducah
Water Works to provide all equipment and labor necessary for con -
SECTION 2. Payment for the cost of materials for this project
shall be charged to Account No. 9094.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for
public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and
effect immediately thereafter.
