ORDINANCE NO. 72-11-713
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MARIAN H. McREYNOLDS, 1325
LANGSTAFF AVENUE, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN
LOT 21, BLOCK 10, ROWLAND PLACE ADDITION ON RUDY AVENUE, FOR THE SUM
r OF $300.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A
QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERX OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Marian H. McReynolds in the amount of
$300.00 to purchase the interest of the City in the following described
land in said City be accepted, said :land being described as follows:
Lot 21, Block 10, Rowland Place Addition,
fronting 50 feet on the east side of Rudy
Street 250 feet south of 14th Street, and
as shown on page 84 of Block Map Book 3
in the office of the City Engineer.
Being the same land (Henry Frazier property)
conveyed to the City of PadBcah by Ben LeRoy,
City Treasurer, by deed dated October 4, 1972
and of record in Deed Book 546, page 58 in the
McCracken County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $300.00 to the City
Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to convey to Mariam H. McReynolds all of the right, title and interest
of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed
shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title, and
shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an
accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
