HENDERSON 2109 JACKSON STREET, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN LOTS 24 AND 25, BLOCK 5, THURMAN, HUGHES, HERZOG AND BETHEL ADDITION ON MAIN STREET, FOR THE SUM OF $340.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of James M. Henderson in the amount of $340.00, to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land in said City, be accepted, said land being described as follows: Lots 24 and 25 in Block 5, Thurman, Hughes, Herzog and Bethel Addition, each lot fronting 39 feet on the east side of Main Street, and as shown on page 65 of Block Map Book No. 6 in the office of the City Engineer. Lot 24 (W. F. Miller.property) being conveyed to the City of Paducah by Benjamin C. LeRoy, Treasurer, by deed dated September 12, 1972, and of record in Deed Book 544, page 607 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office, and Lot 25 (S. A. Hill property) being conveyed to the City of Paducah by Benjamin C. LeRoy, Treasurer, by deed dated September 12, 1972, and of record in Deed Book 544, page 611 in said Clerk's office. SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $340.00 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to James M. Henderson all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
