DISTRICT ENGINEER, DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS, COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, Jack O. Gray as District Engineer of District No. 1
of the Kentucky Department of Highways has rendered invaluable
assistance to the City of Paducah throughout his tenure as District
Engineer through recommendations, suggestions, traffic control,
highway maintenance, new highway construction, planning and develop-
ment, and even control of landfill fires, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah
desires to express its appreciation to the Engineer.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, by and through the Board
of Commissioners, expresses its appreciation and gratitude to Jack
O. Gray, District Engineer, Commonwealth of Kentucky Department of
Highways, for his many and varied services to the City throughout the
years that he has served as District Engineer for District No. 1.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and she is hereby, authorized
and directed to forward a copy of this resolution to Jack O. Gray
and to the Commissioner of Highways of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
