AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH THE KENTUCKY PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
OFFICE FOR PLANNING ASSISTANCE IN FISCAL YEAR 1973, AND PROVIDING THE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SUCH CONTRACT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and she is hereby, authorized
and directed to execute a contract on behalf of the City of Paducah
with the Kentucky Program Development Office, for providing planning
assistance to the City of Paducah for the period ending June 30, 1973,
for the purpose of preparing a Housing Assistance Information Study
and a Commercial Area Study, wherein the City of Paducah shall contribute
$2,800.00 of the total cost.
SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public
inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect
immediately thereafter.
