HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 1110, Ordinance Number 72-8-679ORDINANCE NO. 72-8-679 AN ORDINANCE ANENDING SUB -SECTION (a) AND (c) OF SECTION 10-49 "DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE" OF THE CODE OF PADINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That sub -sections (a) and (c) of Section 10-49 "Department of Finance" of the Code of Ordinances City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said Sub -sections as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows: Sec. 10-49 Department of finance (a) There is hereby created and authorized the following positions in the department of finance, and the salary of each position, provided the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted, shall be as follows: Position _ Base Monthly Salary This department shall be under the direction and supervision of the City Treasurer, a noncivil service position which has heretofore been created by separate ordinance. Auditor $577.33 Bookkeeper 483.33 Senior clerk (2 positions) 417.33 Secretary 427.33 Computer audit clerk 422.33 Clerk -typist (2 positions) 372.33 License inspector 607.33 Assistant license inspector 457.33 Deputy tax collector 500.00 (c) The computer audit clerk shall be paid at the rate of $422.33 per month for the first six months of employment; at the expiration of six months $432.33 per month; at the expiration of one year, $443.33 per month; at the expiration of two years, $453.33 per month; and at the expiration of three years $463.33 per month; such increases to be made upon recommendation of the city manager. SECTION 2. Section 1 amends Section 7 of an ordinance originally adopted December 2, 1947 and last amended by Ordinance No. 72-4-642 enacted April 25, 1972. SECTION 3.
