FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE COMPACT AUTOMOBILE TO BE USED BY THE CRIME SCENE UNIT OF THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. for sale to the City of one (1) 1972 Ford Pinto for use by the Crime Scene Unit of the Paducah Police Department in the total amount of $1,875.00 said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by the resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on June 14, 1972, and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. dated June 22, 1972. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc. for sale to the City of the vehicle as authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days tjereafter.
