ORDINANCE NO. 72-6-658
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WEST KENTUCKY EQUIPMENT COMPANY
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF THREE (3) GRAVEL SPREADERS FOR USE IN THE STREET
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of West Kentucky Equipment Company for sale to the City of three (3)
gravel spreaders for use in the street department, in the total amount
of $4,072.50, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on April 25, 1972, and
as contained in the bid of West Kentucky Equipment Company dated
May 22, 1972.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with West Kentucky Equipment Company for the sale
to the City of three (3) gravel spreaders as authorized in Section 1
above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in
full force and effect ten days thereafter.
