SULLIVAN, SULLIVAN'S LAWN AND GARDEN SUPPLY, FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE SELF- PROPELLED RIDING MOWER FOR USE IN THE PARKS DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of J. R.. Sullivan, Sullivan's Lawn and Garden Supply, of Paducah, Kentucky, for sale to the City of one new Yazoo Industrial Mower for use in the Parks Department, in the net amount of $1,533.60, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on April 25, 1972, and as contained in the bid of J. R. Sullivan dated May 5, 1972. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with J. R. Sullivan, for sale to the City of the property and equipment as authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all requirements heretofore approved and incorporated in said bid. SECTION 3. That an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in w hich it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter. mayor Introduced by the Board of Commissioners May 16, 1972 Passed by the Board of Commissioners May 23, 1972 Recorded by Sarah Thurman, City Clerk, May 23, 1972.
