ORDINANCE NO. 72-5-647
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF GILSON STREET TO
POWELL STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the name of the street in the City of
Paducah, extending from Bethel Street to Locust Drive known
as Gilson Street be changed to Powell Street. It is the intent
of this ordinance that the name Powell Street Le applied to all
of that street or streets which have been known as Powell Street,
Gilson Street or Powell -Gilson Street. The street to be known
as Powell Street would then extend from Bethel Street to
Jarrett Street.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
