HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 97, No Ordinance Number97 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF VASSEUR TRACTOR AND IMPLEMENT COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW TRACTOR FOR USE IN THE PARKS, RECREATION AND CEMETERY DEPARTMENTS, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Cite of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Vasseur Tractor & Implement Company in the sum of $2,750.00, less trade-in allowance of $700.00 for one (1) 1951 Ford tractor, Serial No. 8N389791, making a net total (including 3% Kentucky Sales Tax of $61.50) of $2,111.50 for the sale to the City of One (1) New Ford All Purpose Tractor, Model 2000, having the specifications as set out in the Resolution adopted on March 14, 1967 by the Board of Commissioners of said City authorizing advertisement for bids for such equipment, and contained in the hid of Vasseur Tractor & Implement Company dated March 29, 1967. SECTION 2, That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for said tractor as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
