HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 952, Ordinance Number 69-4-195952 / ORDINANCE NO. 69-4-195 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING UNAUTHORIZED PARKING OF VEHICLES ON PRIVATE PROPERTY OR OFF-STREET PARKING LOTS, AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF SUCH VEHICLES AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That no person shall park or abandon a vehicle on anothers property or upon an area developed as an off-street parking facility, without the consent of the owner, lessee or person in charge of any such property or facility, and if at any time a vehicle is parked in violation of the provisions of this ordinance, the Police Department, upon written complaint of the owner, lessee or person in charge shall remove, or cause to be removed, said vehicle in accordance with the provisions of Section 20-129, 130 amd 131 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions of Section 1 of this ordinance shall be fined not less than $5.00 nor more than $25.00, and said fine shall be in addition to all costs for hauling and storing any vehicle removed pursuant to this ordinance. SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- with are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force immediately upon its final passage, approval and publication as required by law.
