ORDINANCE NO. 69-3-188
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF HARPER TRUCK SERVICE, INC.
TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN PROPERTY AT 636 WAGNER
STREET THEREIN, FOR THE SUM OF $150.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Harper Truck Service, Inc. in the
amount of $150.00 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in
certain property therein, be accepted, said property being described as
follows:
Being the property at 636 Wagner Avenue fronting
48 feet on west side of same, being Lot 3, Block
48, Hannan and Whittemore Subdivision, and as
shown on page 13 of Block Map Book No. 3 in the
office of the City Engineer.
Being the same property conveyed to the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, by City Treasurer's Tax Sale
Deed dated March 19, 1969, of record in Deed
Book , page , McCracken County Court
Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. On payment of the sum of $150.00 to the City
Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to convey to Harper Truck Service, Inc. all right, title and interest
of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said
deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty
as to title, and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be
shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
