AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF AARON E. COLLINS TO PURCHASE
THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF
VIRGIE STREET THEREIN, FOR THE SUM OF $125.00, FOR AND IN THE NAME OF
LINDA FAY COLLINS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Aaron E. Collins in the amount
of $125.00 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in certain
property therein, for and in the name of Linda Fay Collins, be accepted.
said property being described as follows:
50 feet fronting on South side of Virgie Street
about 300 feet from the N. C. & St. L. Railroad
right-of-way, about 175 feet deep and at the city
limits, and as shown on page 2 of Block Map Book 7
in the office of the City Engineer.
Being the same property conveyed to the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, by City Treasurer's Tax Sale
Deed dated March 14, 1969, of record in Deed
Book 507, page 124, McCracken County Court Clerk's
office.
SECTION 2. On payment of the sum of $125.00 to the City
Treasurer by the aforesaid Aaron E. Collins, the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Linda Fay Collins
all right, title and interest of the City in the property described in
Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only,
shall contain no warranty as to title, and shall be subject to any
state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
