HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 924, Ordinance Number 69-3-186924 / ORDINANCE NO. 69-3-186 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF AN ALLEY LYING BETWEEN LEIBERMAN STREET AND KOERNER STREET, AND RUNNING FROM SOUTH BELTLINE HIGHWAY TO PARKER STREET IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION I. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby authorize the closing of a portion of a public alley in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, described as follows: Beginning at the northwest intersection of a ten foot public alley and the south Beltline Highway, said beginning point being located in an easterly' direction and 144.0 feet from the southeast inter- section of the property lines of Koerner Street and the Beltline Highway; thence in a southerly direction and along the westerly property line of a ten foot alley for a distance of 171.55 feet to a point; thence with an interior angle of 89049'22'h" and in an easterly direction for a distance of 10.0 feet to a point; thence with an interior angle of 90019'37h" and in a northerly direction and along the easterly property line of a ten foot public alley for a distance of 171.55 feet to a point marking the northeast intersection of the said alley with a Beltline Highway; thence with an interior angle of 89040'22'x" and in a westerly direction and along the said southerly property line of the Beltline Highwat for a distance of 10.0 feet to the point of beginning. (The first call and the last call in the above description makes an interior angle of 90019'37i11.) SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute and prosecute, pursuant to Section 94.360 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the alley described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. .6 C ' �- Mayor .
