PAUL CARNEAL AND HIS WIFE, MARY E. CARNEAL, FIXING A SEWER TAP -ON CHARGE FOR A SANITARY SEWER LINE CONSTRUCTED BY THE CARNEALS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract, on behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, with J. Paul Carneal and his wife, Mary E. Carneal, fixing a sewer tap -on charge for a sanitary sewer line constructed by the Carneal-S, in words and figures as follows: "THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this _ day of March, 1969, by and between the CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, hereinafter called first party, and J. PAUL CARNEAL and his wife, MARY E. CARNEAL, hereinafter called second parties, W I T N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, second parties are the owners of Lot 10 in Block A of Woodland Manor Subdivision as shown on plat of record in Plat Book "G", page 25 in the office of the County Court Clerk of McCracken County, Kentucky, said lot being located on Valley Road in Paducah, Kentucky; and WHEREAS, the City sewer system did not extend to said lot, and WHEREAS, by agreement with the City of Paducah, second parties have, at their own cost and expense, extended said sewer a distance of approximately 300 feet; and WHEREAS, said extension for said sewer has been acquired by the City of Paducah without cost and expense to it; NOW, THEREFORE, the parties do hereby agree as follows: 1. The City of Paducah will charge and collect a fee of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) from lot owners, who in the future tap -on to that portion of the sewer constructed by second parties and said monies as collected will be paid over to second parties, or their heirs and assigns." 923 SECTION 2.
