HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 920, Ordinance Number 69-3-184920` ORDINANCE NO. 69-3-184 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF PARK AVENUE BETWEEN 32ND STREET AND THE FLOODWALL, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on March 19, 1969, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF PARK AVENUE BETWEEN 32ND STREET AND THE FLOODWALL", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the may amend- ment proposed in said resolution be, and the same hereby is, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-4 Multiple Dwelling Zone to B-1 Neighborhood Business Zone. Beginning at a point in the center line of Park Avenue, which point is located a distance of 240 feet east of the intersection of the center line of Park Avenue with the center line of 32nd Street; running thence in a southerly direction along and with the dividing line between the property of W. E. Harris and the property of the Park Avenue Baptist Church a distance of 524.98 feet to a point, common corner to W. E. Harris, Hayse Howard and Park Avenue Baptist Church; thence in a southeasterly direction along and with the dividing line between the property of W. E. Harris fronting on Park Avenue and the property of W. E. Harris fronting on 32nd Street a distance of 625 feet, more or less, to a point in the west line of the City of Paducah Borrow Easement; thence in a northerly direction along and with the west line of said Borrow Easement a distance of 1011 feet, more or less, to the center line of Park Avenue; thence in a westerly direction along and with the center line of Park Avenue to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. 921 SECTION 5.
