ORDINANCE NO. 69-2-171
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PETER PIRSCH & SONS COMPANY
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) AERIAL HOOK AND LADDER TYPE FIRE
TRUCK FOR USE IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND
PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF,THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Peter
Pirsch & Sons Company in the amount of $55,349.00, for sale to the
City of one (1) Model 41D, 85.ft. 4 pc. Cab Forward Intermediate
Ladder Truck, having the specifications set out in the Resolution
adopted December 10, 1968 by the Board of Commissioners of said City
authorizing advertisement for bids for such equipment, and contained
in the bid of said Peter Pirsch & Sons Company dated January 6, 1969.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for said equipment as set out
in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon .its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days, thereafter.
