ORDINANCE NO. 69-1-170
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF ARRON E. COLLINS TO
PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN PROPERTY AT 103
PAXTON STREET THEREIN, FOR THE SUM OF $200.00, FOR AND IN THE NAME
OF LARRY COLLINS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Arron E. Collins in the smount
of $200.00 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in certain
property therein, for and in the name of Larry Collins, be accepted,
said property being described as follows:
Being at 103 Paxton Street, fronting 50 feet
on the north side of same, 150 feet deep, and
as shown on page 2 of Block Map Book No. 7 in
the office of the City Engineer, and conveyed
to Doshie Kinkade by deed of record in Deed
Book 248, page 528, in the McCracken County
Court Clerk's office.
Being the same property conveyed to the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, by City Treasurer's Tax Sale
Deed dated December 13, 1968, of record in Deed
Book 505, page 342, McCracken County Court Clerk's
Office.
SECTION 2. On payment of the sum of $200.00 to the City
Treasurer by the aforesaid Arron E. Collins, the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Larry Collins
all right, title and interest of the City in the property described
in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim
only, shall contain no warranty as to title, and shall be subject
to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
