TO FURNISH TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH APPROXIMATELY 1.00 PARKING METERS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SUCH PARKING METERS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Duncan Industries, Inc. to furnish the City approximately 100 parking meters under the following terms and conditions: The 100 parking meters, more or less, shall be of one or two types, or both, with the first type being known as Duncan Model "60" Meter, which includes complete meter head, to allow ten (10) hour parking using nickels, dimes and quarters at the rate of one (1) nickel per one-half hour, or one (1) dime for one hour and one (1) quarter for two & one-half hours, with open type coin box, Duncan Washer Detector, and Gunmetal paint, at a unit cost of $67.00 each, less $7.00 for any trade-in for one used meter, the second type being known as Duncan Duplex Meters, providing two car spaces per unit and in all other respects being identical to the Duncan Model "60" Meters, which deplex meters shall be at a unit cost of $126.75, less $10.00 for trade-in allowance for two used meters, all prices f.o.b. Paducah, Kentucky. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into and execute a contract for the purchase of parking meters as herein set out, and to purchase 100 parking meters, more or less, of either type authorized, or any combination thereof, as will best meet the need for parking spaces to be provided by the City. SECTION 2.
