ORDINANCE NO 69-1-165
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CAN-TEX INDUSTRIES TO
FURNISH PIPE AND ACCESSORIES TO BE USED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF
SANITARY SEDERS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SUCH PIPE AND ACCESSORIES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid of Can -Tex Industries, to furnish the City with pipe and
accessories to be used in the construction of sanitary sewers in
the following approximate quantities and under the following terms
and conditions:

1150 L.F. 8" V.C.P. - 5' 1.00 " "
268 L.F. 6" V.C.P. - 4' .67 per ft.
12 L.F. 6" V.C.P. - 2' .94 " I.
13 PCs 8" x 6" Y's 6.00 each
11 PCs 6" x 300 Bends 4.08 each
3 PCs 8" Stoppers 1.00 each
13 PCs 6" Stoppers .85 each
Terms: 2$ 10 days, 30 days net.
The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into and execute a
contract for the purchase of pipe and accessories as herein set out, and
to purchase the approximate amount indicated, more or less, as will best
meet the needs of the City in constructing said sanitary sewers.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be
in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
