ORDINANCE NO. 68-12-155
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE
REQUIRING REGISTRATION OF CONVICTED FELONS AND CERTAIN CONVICTED
MISDEMEANANTS AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES", WHICH WAS ADOPTED
DECEMBER 10, 1968 AND WHICH BECAME EFFECTIVE UPON PUBLICATION
ON DECEMBER 17, 1968 AND FURTHER REPEALING SECTIONS 19-16 THROUGH
19-19 OF THE "CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY," WHICH
WAS ADOPTED =JULY 9, 1968.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITYT
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING
REGISTRATION OF CONVICTED FELONS AND CERTAIN CONVICTED MISDEMEANANTS
AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES", which was adopted December 10, 1968, and
which became effective upon publication on December 17, 1968, be
repealed.
SECTION 2. That Section 19-16 entitled, "Registration of
felons with chief of police - Generally", Section 19-17, "Same -
Exceptions", Section 19-18, "Same - Inspection of record" and Section
19-19, "Same - Penalty for violation of section 19-16" of the "Code
of Ordinances City of Paducah, Kentucky", which was adopted July 9,
1968, be repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
