ORDINANCE NO. 68-12-149
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF HAROLD WAGNER, JR. TO
PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN PROPERTY AT 719 SOUTH
3RD STREET THEREIN, FOR THE SUM OF $500.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Harold Wagner, Jr. in the amount
of $500.00 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in certain
property therein be accepted, said property being described as follows:
Being the property at 719 South 3rd Street
fronting 50 feet on the west side of 3rd Street
117.25 feet north of Tennessee Street, 173.25
feet deep,.and as shown on Page 42 of Block Map
Book No. 1 in the office of the City Engineer.
SECTION 2. On payment of the sum of $500.00 to the City Treasurer
by the aforesaid Harold Wagner, Jr., the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to convey to him all the right, title and
interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof,
and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no
warranty as to title,.and shall be subject to any state of facts
that might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
