AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF NATIONAL CASH REGISTER COMPANY
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF AN ACCOUNTING OR BOOKKEEPING MACHINE FOR
USE IN THE FINANCE OFFICE OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of The National Cash Register Company in the sum of $11,218.00, less
$1,150.32 for trade-in of an NCR Model 38 Accounting Machine Serial
Number 5693532 and an NCR Remittance Machine Serial Number 6027179,
making a,net total of $10,067.68 for the sale to the City of one (1)
NCR Model 395-301-110 having the specifications as set out in the
Resolution adopted on February 28, 1967 authorizing advertisement for
bids for such machine and contained in the bid of The National Cash
Register Company.
SECTION 2_ That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for said machine as set out in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which.it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
